It has now been 11 years since poor Pa had to tell me the devastating news.
11 years since I collapsed and cried out to God in agony.
11 years since I lost my Daddy.

Well, it’s not my birthday today, but it was yesterday. I turned 28.
I had an absolutely splendid day! Woke to a Sausage McMuffin, hash brown and coffee breakfast in bed. Then unwrapped The Darkness cd and trazillion cute shirts that Joshy got for me
)
Went shopping and used a cd voucher that the in-law’s gave me to get The Best of Both Worlds Van Halen 2cd set - woohoo! Looked at bikinis but the one I wanted wasn’t in my size, as usual
P More shopping today, and damn does it rule to have birthday money to spend.
My Mummy visited in the afternoon with a delicious chocolate cake, and I received various other visitors and phone calls and cards and gifts and e-mails and SMS’s during the course of the day.
Josh and I then went to La Porchetta for dinner and I ate the most delectable pizza ever - it was antipasto so it had eggplant, artichokes, mushroom, zucchini, capsicum, olives, semi-dried tomato, capers, etc etc. OMIGOSH it was heaven and so excessively filling that when I came home I had to lie down and have a nap before I went to bed.
Thank you to everyone who made my birthday such a loverly day - you know who you are, I LOVE YOU ALL!

Fordsdale Farmstay is the place we were supposed to go horseriding at this morning. It was meant to be an early birthday treat for me. However, things didn’t quite go according to plan… through no fault of our own.
