« HAPPY BIRTHDAY GYPSIE! :: February 25th, 2005

Today is Gypsie’s 3rd birthday!

She had Schmacko’s for breakfast, and her Aunty Beth is coming around later with more Schmacko’s.

She will be having a special evening meal of raw beef sausages, and I am going to sing to her and try and make her wear a party hat. If I am successful in getting her to keep it on for more than 5 seconds, I will take a photo!

She had a lovely time this morning chasing Darcy around the backyard and getting hissed at and scratched in the process.

But she misses her Daddy and is not wagging her tail much today :(

So please leave some birthday wishes to make her day brighter!

« All By Myself :: February 21st, 2005

Joshy has been in Victoria for just over 24 hours now. It was very sad saying goodbye at the airport. I cried and didn’t want to let go of him.

At the moment, I feel a little bit lost, and it seems like he’s just gone away for a few days, that he’s just in Brisbane or somewhere close visiting friends or family, and that he’ll be back by the end of the week.

Thank goodness he gets mobile phone reception in his room! We can SMS each other, and I’m going to get an Optus SIM so we can talk for free after 8pm.

Last night I slept on his side of the bed. His pillow smelled like him. I hugged it all night long.

« Dental Health :: February 17th, 2005

I had a check-up at the dentist today. I hadn’t been for about 5 years or so, and I was a bit worried I might need a couple of fillings, which would cost quite a few dollars.

I needn’t have worried. No cavaties! I’m stoked.

Total cost after private health insurance claim - $44.60.

Fairly painless on both counts :o )
